Feeding Instructions

Adult

Depending on the breed, dogs mature to adulthood around 7-10 months. The quantity of food your dog will eat to maintain optimum body condition will vary based on age activity, breed, size and environment. Be your pet's best friend and don't allow your dog to become overweight. Overfeeding may cause loose stools along with other problems.

Puppies and Pregnant or Nursing Adults

Puppies and lactating adults require more frequent feedings. Puppies should be fed daily. Food consumption will vary during pregnancy and nursing. Food Intake increases two to three times.

Suggested Feeding: (based on an adult dog)
3-10lbs. - 1/2 to 1 cup
13-20lbs. - 1 to 1-1/2 cups
21-50lbs. - 1-1/2 to 2 cups
51-75lbs. - 2 to 3 cups
76-100lbs. - 3 to 4-1/2 cups

2X Daily For Puppies
3X Daily For Gestating & Lactation- feed as much as required to maintain the female's ideal body condition, and food intake may increase 2 to 3 times the 12+ months amount.
